This past weekend

This past weekend was amazing! Christopher and I headed to Broken Bow, Oklahoma (which I was unaware that it was 4 1/2 hours away) to a bed and breakfast. Monday was his birthday and we just wanted to get away from the daily stress here in Duncan and leave everything behind, including my cell phone, for the weekend. The bed and breakfast was absolutely beautiful and the weather was great for the weekend! Went and ate at Papa Poblano's for dinner Saturday which was really good and was reasonably priced. Then headed back to the B&B and watched movies. Sunday was my favorite day! Headed about 10 miles north to Beaver's Bend and went 4 wheeling. For those of you that have yet to hear, i bought a 4 wheeler! :) We went throughout the forestry out there over rocks, through creeks, really had fun! I've never been much of an outdoorsy girl, but Chris has opened my eyes to new things and I'm actually enjoying being outdoors more. Plus, i get to bring my camera with me and take all kinds of beautiful landscape pictures. I LOVE IT!! Hopefully I'll get to upload some pictures pretty soon from the trip! Sunday night the storm rolled in. The winds really picked up and I'm pretty sure it rained pretty hard all night long. Woke up to it raining and tons of birds outside. We really enjoyed being able to watch the Cardinals out the window while we ate breakfast. Headed back home about noon and it was still raining. Once we were about 30 minutes from Duncan, it started to sleet and snow. It started coming down pretty good, which I was excited about, but it didn't stick! Of course! Oh well! We really had a great weekend even though the weather got bad, we didn't really have to drive in it. Well hopefully like I said, I'll be able to upload pictures in a couple of days!
